Buddy’s
Seafood, BBQ, steaks & more are served in a casual shack with dollar bills festooning the walls.
It’s right next to the pier and a great place to watch the surfers.

Beauchaines 211
Undoubtably the best restaurant on Topsail Island with Shrimp & Grits, Pistachio Salmon, Stuffed Flounder, Mahi-Mahi, Mahi-Mahi, NY Strip Sirloin. And the views of the sunset over the intracoastal waterway are remarkable. Yet, this place is not stuffy. Come casually nice and you will enjoy a great meal. Open W-Sat. Reservations are highly suggested.

DADDY MAC’S BEACH GRILLE
Daddy Mac’s is a restaurant just north of the Surf City Pier. We love it. I had a special; tilapia in a bag, steamed with red peppers in a mango sauce. My wife had mahi-mahi bahamian style with jerk seasoning. The view of the ocean and pier are great. The service was good. The rest of the menu looks good also. Dinners in the $18+ range but there are gourmet burgers in the $10+ range. Seating is upstairs but they have an elevator. They also have a neon “closed” sign when they are closed.
